At Aelite Club, we are delighted to announce our partnership with the prestigious hockey club of Waterloo, the Waterloo Ducks. If you have trained with us before, you have probably encountered high-level athletes such as John John Dohmen, Vincent Vanash, or Aisling D’Hooghe. These names are certainly not unknown to you, as they are emblematic figures of Belgian and international hockey.
We are proud of this collaboration which allows both first teams of the Ducks and their staff to benefit from our facilities for their physical preparation. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to supporting high-level sports and providing a superior training environment.
The remarkable achievements of the Waterloo Ducks
The Waterloo Ducks have experienced years of impressive success, demonstrating their excellence on the field:
2019
- The Men’s team won its first European Championship title.
- The Women’s team won its second Belgian Indoor Championship title.
- The Youth School was ranked the third best school of the year according to the Youth Hockey Index Performance (YHIP).
- Renovation of their second wet pitch and construction of a third wet pitch.
- Installation of an 800-seat covered grandstand.
2020
- The club has over 1500 members.
- The Youth School was ranked the second best school of the year according to the Youth Hockey Index Performance (YHIP).
2022
- The Youth School was ranked the best school of the year according to the Youth Hockey Index Performance (YHIP).
2023
- The Youth School was once again ranked the best school of the year according to the Youth Hockey Index Performance (YHIP).
- The Men’s team finished second in the Honor Division championship.
2024
- The Women’s team won its third Belgian Indoor Championship title.
